After every trip, we hear back from extremely happy travelers. These are their real comments told in their own voices.

A safari gets better as time passes, just like a fine wine.

I've come to appreciate my safari with Thomson Safaris more and more as time passes - it gets better with age, just like a fine wine. Our main guide, Kumbi, was terrific. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and Tanzanian culture. All of the camp personnel were excellent, always helpful; and the meals were wonderful.

Thanks for allowing so many to enjoy the richness of Tanzania.

Thanks to all at Thomson Safaris for allowing so many to enjoy the richness of Tanzania! The trip was more of a journey into the sacred. Our guides, especially Ojukwu, helped to make my sister's and my dream a wonderful and powerful experience and an exceptional trip. And would you believe we saw a lioness kill a Thomson Gazelle no more than 45 feet away!!!

Thomson Safaris does a great job with the Cultural Safari.

Tanzania Wildlife & Cultural Safari Review

The cultural component was so important to me in choosing a trip to Tanzania and Thomson Safaris does a great job with the Cultural Safari. There was a nice mix of wildlife and culture. Everyday was very special and I love how you give back to the people of Tanzania and employ people born in Tanzania.

...our safari guide was the finest we've ever had!

We’ve been fortunate enough to travel to 67 different countries, and have taken dozens of guided tours. We can honestly say that Mustafa is without question the finest tour guide we’ve ever had. His depth of knowledge of the animals, birds, and plant life was amazing, as was his knowledge about Tanzania’s history and culture. He went out of his way to ensure that our visit was the best it could be. He made us feel like the most important clients he, and Thomson Safaris, had ever had!

What a fantastic and memorable trip!

Our Thomson Safaris guide Charles was amazing, and so universally respected; having him lead the trip felt like being with a living legend. The staff of the Tarangire Nyumba even performed an impromptu dance after dinner to celebrate Leela’s birthday. It was so entertaining and thoughtful.
