Tanzania Family Safari
My first safari was with Thomson in October of 2014, recommended by friends. The organization, attention to detail and exemplary service provided by Thomson were the reasons for the second booking.
I found your catalog and website have ample information for choosing the trip suitable to your needs and activity preferences. Emily in Sales was very patient with my questions and changes requested to my itinerary. She was always prompt with her replies. Nicole in Service was very willing to share information and tips to make my trip even better. She was also interested in my personal story – not “just another tourist”. The trip preparation materials were well-organized and informative without being overwhelming.
The food at the Nyumbas was amazing! It is difficult to understand how the chef was able to create such tasty and well-presented meals with the equipment available. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay more enjoyable.
James was extremely professional and considerate. He demonstrated patience for stopping to photo or watch the wildlife. And he was very keen on spotting wildlife at great distances. He also encouraged me to participate in local cultural activities such as wood carving. He also has a great sense of humor! Every morning the vehicle was clean and ready to begin a fresh day.
The cultural activities were awesome. The storytellers, the Maasai boys/girls dance at camp and the sweet children at the primary school.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. No words can truly describe it. From start to finish – I never wanted it to end!
