Day 3
Arusha National Park

Today you will have the opportunity to explore Arusha National Park. Keep an eye out for the rare black and white colobus monkey as you explore the park's forests, hills and lakes.

Day 4
Arusha / Tarangire National Park

Make your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's fourth largest. Enjoy the dramatic landscape dotted by baobab trees as well as some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant.

Day 5
Tarangire / Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is a geological marvel boasting several vegetation zones from lakes to forest to savannah. It is also home to about 30,000 animals, despite its tiny size of only 10 miles across.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater

Take advantage of your optimally located Nyumba and descend into the crater today searching out lion, hippo, the rare black rhino, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, African buffalo and much more.

Oduvai Gorge / Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continue your journey into the heart of Tanzania by heading west, toward the Serengeti Plains.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti / Arusha / Depart

Depart the Serengeti late this morning and spend the rest of the day in Arusha, with a farewell lunch, some shopping and a dayroom to prepare for your flight home this evening.
