Depart U.S. / Arrive Arusha |
Connect in Amsterdam with your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport,

Day 3
Arusha / Tarangire National Park |
Today you will depart Arusha, traveling southwest through
the Maasai Steppe to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's fourth
largest.

Day 4
Tarangire National Park |
Spend another day in Tarangire National Park, viewing some
of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying
the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that
are so typical of the park.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater |
The Ngorongoro Crater is a geological marvel boasting several
vegetation zones, including lakes, forest, and savannah. It
is also home to about 30,000 animals despite its tiny size
of only ten miles across. Many Maasai call the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area home - keep an eye out for the red cloth
of the herdsmen dotting the landscape as you make your way
through this area.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater |
Take advantage of your optimally located Nyumba and spend
the day on the crater floor searching out lion, hippo, the
rare black rhino, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, African buffalo
and much more.

Day 7
Serengeti National Park |
After breakfast, continue your journey into the heart of Tanzania
by heading west, toward the Serengeti Plains.

Serengeti National Park |
Relish in the vastness of the Serengeti, "the land that
flows on forever," along with some of the best wildlife
viewing that Africa has to offer. Relax at camp this afternoon
or take an optional walk to the nearby village of Robanda.

Serengeti / Arusha / Depart |
Depart the Serengeti on a scenic flight late this morning
arriving in Arusha in time for a farewell lunch, some shopping
and a dayroom to prepare for your flight home this evening.
