Connect in Amsterdam with your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport,

Private Nature Refuge |
Depart after breakfast on a charter flight to Wasso. Continue
your journey into the heart of Tanzania by heading to a private
nature refuge, an exclusive area for Thomson guests,
in the Serengeti ecosystem. Please note: A $100
per person conservation fee is applicable on all itineraries
visiting the private nature refuge.

Serengeti National Park |
Drive to Serengeti National Park, home to literally hundreds
of thousands of hoofed animals. This pristine and unique sanctuary
will give you a glimpse into “the world as it was in

Serengeti National Park |
Spanning nearly 6,000 square miles, the Serengeti has even
more to offer you today. With your skilled guides at the helm,
the game viewing promises to be interesting on this last day
of your adventure in the Serengeti ecosystem.

Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater |
Make your way from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, a geological
marvel boasting several vegetation zones from lakes to forest
to savannah. It is home to about 30,000 animals, despite its
tiny size of only 10 miles across.

Ngorongoro Crater |
You will have a front row seat to observe some of the densest

Maasailand |
This morning travel to Empakaai Crater, where you will hike
down onto its floor and explore the shores of its flamingo-lined
lake. There are no roads and no tourists, and you'll be enthralled
by this quiet, magical place. Return to the rim to spend a
quiet night under the stars before the next leg of your journey.

Maasailand |
Begin trekking down into the Rift Valley joined by a Maasai
walking guide. Enjoy the remote terrain and stunning scenery

Great Rift Valley |
Walk for several hours through this beautiful setting, with
Ol Doinyo Lengai in the background. Complete your scenic trek
at Lake Natron where you will enjoy lunch. Guides and drivers
will meet you and take you to a relaxing retreat nestled at
the foot of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment.

Depart for Arusha this morning, arriving in time for a farewell
