Depart North America / Arrive Arusha |
Connect in Amsterdam with your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport,
arriving late evening. You will be met by Thomson Safaris
staff and transferred to your lodge. We

Day 3
Serengeti National Park |
After breakfast, take a scenic flight to the Serengeti where
you will meet your guides upon landing. Enjoy wildlife viewing

Day 4
Serengeti National Park |
This morning, enjoy the vastness of the Serengeti, "the
land that flows on forever," along with some of the best
wildlife viewing that Africa has to offer. Take an optional
walk to Robanda village this afternoon to visit with the Ikoma
tribe. The Ikoma are known for their hunting prowess, drumming
and dance, and storytelling.

Spanning nearly 6,000 square miles, and home to hundreds of

day.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Highlands |
After breakfast, continue your journey by heading east, toward
the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Many Maasai call the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area home - keep an eye out for the red cloth
of the herdsmen dotting the landscape as you make your way
through this area. Arrive at Gibb's Farm in the afternoon,
where you are sure to enjoy the serenity of this lush and
extraordinary oasis.

Day 7
Ngorongoro Highlands |
Spend the morning in Lake Manyara National Park, a unique
park with an alkaline lake and breathtaking views. Here you
will view a wide variety of wildlife including lions, baboons
and countless varieties of birds.

Ngorongoro Highlands |
The Ngorongoro Crater is a geological marvel boasting several
vegetation zones, including lakes, forest, and savannah. It
is also home to about 30,000 animals despite its tiny size
of only ten miles.

Day 9
Ruaha National Park |
Take a flight to southern Tanzania this morning and arrive
in time for lunch. On your first afternoon in Ruaha, you will
view wildlife along the Mwagusi Sand River and the Great Ruaha
River. During your drive, you will be struck by the beauty
and the vast expanse of unpopulated wilderness stretching
out towards the distant blue hills of the Southern Highlands.

Ruaha National Park |
Enjoy another day of wildlife viewing in Ruaha National Park,

and untouched wilderness.

drive from your camp. Enjoy your final day exploring the area

Dar es Salaam / Depart |
Depart this morning, spending the rest of the day in Dar es
Salaam with some shopping and a dayroom to prepare for your
