Depart U.S. / Arrive Arusha |
Connect in Amsterdam with your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport,
arriving late evening. You will be met by Thomson Safaris
staff and transferred to your lodge.

Arusha / Tarangire National Park |
Today you will depart Arusha, traveling southwest through
the Maasai Steppe to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's fourth
largest.

Tarangire National Park |
Spend another day in Tarangire National Park, viewing some
of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying
the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that
are so typical of the park.

Day 5
Tarangire / Ngorongoro Highlands |
Make your way to Gibbs Farm in the Ngorongoro Highlands where
you are sure to enjoy the serenity of this lush and extraordinary
oasis.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Highlands / Lake Manyara National Park |
Your afternoon will be spent in Lake Manyara National Park,
a unique park with an alkaline lake and breathtaking views.
Here you will view a wide variety of wildlife including lions,
baboons and countless varieties of birds.

- Dawn chorus of local birdlife (includes tea and coffee
on your private veranda)

Ngorongoro Crater |
Make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater, a geological marvel
boasting several vegetation zones from lakes to forest to
savannah and being home to about 30,000 animals, despite its
tiny size of only 10 miles across.

Ngorongoro Crater |
Take advantage of your optimally located Nyumba and spend
another day on the crater floor, searching out lion, hippo,
the rare black rhino, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, African buffalo
and much more.

Olduvai Gorge / Serengeti National Park |
After breakfast, continue your journey into the heart of Tanzania
by heading west, toward the Serengeti Plains.

Serengeti / Arusha / Depart |
Depart the Serengeti late this morning and spend the rest
of the day in Arusha, with a farewell lunch, some shopping
and a dayroom to prepare for your flight home this evening.
- Charter flight from the Serengeti to Arusha (33lbs baggage
maximum)
- Farewell lunch in Arusha
- Shopping
- Dayroom in Arusha
- Transfer to the International Airport for your flight
